There is no singular person or party tasked with making all decisions about Village life. Instead, many of us belong to a great number of governance groups that oversee different concerns in the Village.
For example, the Works Placement Group stays abreast of the ever-changing needs within our workplaces, and the Car Group collects information on our community’s fleet of vehicles and their service needs. We also have the Supreme 7, which acts as a liaison body between our different neighborhoods and our monthly Village Forum meetings.
There are opportunities for people with many abilities to find inclusivity and representation among the different decision-making groups and information-gathering task forces in Camphill Village. We are all members of this community, and those who wish to participate in these consensus-based processes are welcome.
