Each year on Mother’s Day weekend, we welcome seasoned runners to traverse our hillside pastures and forests or take a more leisurely route for all abilities around our beautiful grounds.
Now approaching its eighth season, the Camphill Village 5K Trail & Fun Run has raised more than $130,000 to benefit the lives of the people who call Camphill Village their home.
Funding raised through sponsorships and runner signups for the event go directly to our operating budget, so Camphill can continue to provide unparalleled programing and therapies in our peaceful rural setting.
Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. in front of the Village Green. Park up at our Bluestone administration building, which is on your right as you enter Camphill Village, and walk down the hill.
Participate virtually and run a 5K in your own town! Many family members and friends over the years have posted from afar, including from their treadmills in Nevada and their neighborhoods in Brooklyn! Show your solidarity by posting and using the #camphill5k hashtag!
It’s hilly, and goes through lots of different terrain, but you can always take the lovely route along the Ring Road, which is our Fun Run track.
Just about anyone! The Fun Run takes place around the Ring Road in Camphill Village. The road can accommodate walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. There is a portion with a bit of a hill, so we recommending bringing friends to give a push if needed.
We always have plenty of water, coffee, fruit and something sweet.
