About the Bowl-a-Thon

The needs of Camphill’s residents are evolving as they age alongside a network of extended family and lifelong friends, and the Bowl-a-Thon is a great way to bring the energy and enthusiasm this community of all abilities needs to meet their funding goals. Since 1961, Camphill Village has provided a peaceful setting for adults with developmental disabilities to garden, farm, create, and live alongside residential service volunteers from all over the world. Now, as Camphill’s residents who entered in their 20s have now surpassed their 50- and 60-year anniversaries of making their home in Camphill, the Joseph D. Freedman Bowl-a-Thon remains a major funding source for Camphill’s residents.
